My Very First Publication

A couple of months ago when Andy was visiting Japan, he took me to an interview with the top editor of a Photography magazine. (MotorMagazines "Kamera Man" is a magazine which introduces new cameras and Photographers.) The interview went smashingly well and not only did he go through my portfolio of pictures, he went and showed several other photographers and editors telling them how much he liked my work, and then also promised me a page in his magazine.
He told me the water motion capturing was a modern and foreign look that he has never published in his magazine before so was excited to add this new touch. That was such a sweet compliment! And so that explains that all three photos are of water. Which works well for me because nearly anything with moving water is a concept i love.
Well, just today a copy of next months issue arrived in the mail for me! And i got an eyeful of the very first magazine that published me as a photographer and showcased my work! If only i could explain the butterflies-in-tummy effect! Only the Lord knows where this will lead, and whatever happens i hope i have enough wisdom and humility to accept it the right way. whether it takes off, or flops! Either way I'm just enjoying this moment, and the feeling of my Daddy being so proud of me that my art is being recognized by other artists.
